Celebrating Connection & Pride – Introductory Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement class

Join Erica for a Free class in honor of Pride Month on June 19th from 5 to 6pm and come dressed in your most colorful movement ‘fits!
The Feldenkrais Method is a gentle yet profound approach to movement education rooted in the science of neuroplasticity. It focuses on enhancing self-awareness and improving physical functioning by harnessing the brain’s ability to reorganize and adapt. The practice can serve as a support for individuals facing obstacles, such as injury or physical limitations, to engage in valuable movement practices such as yoga.

In this introductory class, as participants you will be invited to investigate principles of learning and nurture a curiosity in yourself through carefully designed movement explorations. Through these explorations, we cultivate greater ease and efficiency in movement, while also gaining insights into our habits and patterns. These classes offer a pathway to harnessing our innate potential for positive change!

Truly, experience holds the key to profound learning! Bring your curiosity, questions, and your authentic self to join in a process of delightful self-discovery. No previous experience is necessary. Classes are designed to be inclusive and accessible to individuals of all abilities, welcoming both beginners and those already familiar with the Feldenkrais method.

Please wearing comfortable, layered clothing for the sessions, as the practice tends to be slower-paced and emphasizes mindful attention, allowing for a deeper exploration of movement and awareness

Spaces are limited so sign up online to avoid dissapointment!

The class is free, but donations to our non-profit society are gratefully excepted.
