Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement: Refining the Self Image!
Bring your curiosity, and join in a process of fascinating self-discovery. Awareness Through Movement is a gentle and profound approach to self-education. This practice taps into our nervous system’s ability to refine, reorganize, and adapt, enhancing self-awareness and improving physical and mental functioning.
These carefully designed movement explorations are generally done sitting in a chair or lying on a soft mat. Please wear comfortable, layered clothing, as the practice emphasizes mindful attention and tends to be slower-paced, allowing for a deeper sensory experience. Mats will provided. No previous experience is necessary. All classes are inclusive and accessible, welcoming individuals of all abilities, backgrounds, and identities.
This is a free class, but donations to our non-profit society are gratefully accepted.
